How to test an IPTV free trial properly in 24 hours
A practical plan for using a 24-hour IPTV free trial: what to test, when to test it, what to note down and what to send us if something is not right.
A free trial only helps if you use it the way you will use the service every week. Many people start a trial, watch one channel on a phone for ten minutes and then have no real idea whether it suits their home. With only 24 hours, a little planning goes a long way.
This guide gives you a simple plan. It applies to any IPTV trial, and we have written it with our own free 24-hour trial in mind.
Before you ask for a trial
Decide when you want the 24 hours to run. Our trial lasts 24 hours from the moment your trial login is sent to you, so it is worth asking at a time when you can actually sit down and watch. Asking at 11pm on a work night wastes most of it.
Have these ready:
- The device you will mainly watch on (Smart TV, Fire TV Stick, Android box, iPhone, computer and so on)
- Whether that device uses Wi-Fi or a network cable
- A short list of what you normally watch
If you are unsure whether your device will work, our guide to IPTV device compatibility shows how to find the details we need.
A simple plan for the 24 hours
You do not need to spend a whole day in front of the screen. Three or four short sessions at different times are enough.
| When | What to do | What you are learning |
|---|---|---|
| Straight away | Set up the player app and open a live channel | Whether setup is clear and the picture starts promptly |
| Daytime | Browse the TV guide and try a film or series | Whether the guide looks right and on-demand items start and skip smoothly |
| Evening | Watch live TV for at least an hour, ideally live sport or a big programme | How the stream behaves when home broadband is busiest |
| Another screen | Try a second device if you plan to use one | Whether the service suits everywhere you want to watch |
The evening session matters most. Home broadband is usually busiest then, so a service that is fine at 2pm can look different at 8pm. If the picture is steady in the evening, you have learned something useful.
What to check, and how
Watch on the screen you will really use
A phone is forgiving. A large TV shows every weakness. Test on the device and screen you plan to use most, sitting where you normally sit.
Test the channels and programmes you care about
Make a short list before you start and tick each item off. Do not rely on a general impression. Check that what you actually watch is there, and that the TV guide (EPG) shows sensible programme information for it.
Look at the connection, not only the service
If something stutters, the cause is often in the home rather than the service. Note whether you are on Wi-Fi or a cable, and where the router is. Our guides on internet speed for IPTV and why IPTV buffers explain the common causes and the order to check them in.
Try the controls
Change channel a few times, pause and restart, and open the guide. Small annoyances show up in these everyday actions.
Ask a question
Send a question on WhatsApp during the trial, even a simple one. Help is available there 24/7, so this tells you how the conversation feels before you have paid anything.
Keep brief notes
You will forget details by the next day. Keep a note on your phone with:
- The time of each session and what you watched
- Anything that froze, stuttered or failed to load, and roughly when
- Whether the TV was on Wi-Fi or a cable
- Anything you could not find
If you ask us for help, these notes let us find the cause far faster than “it was a bit slow”.
What to send us if something is not right
Message us on WhatsApp straight away rather than waiting for the trial to end. Send:
- Your device and the player app you are using
- What happened, on which channel or title, and at what time
- Whether it happens on every channel or only some
- A speed test result taken where the TV is, if you can
Most problems come from app settings or the Wi-Fi signal, and can often be fixed in minutes. We would rather fix it during your trial than have you judge us on a problem that could have been solved.
Read the terms of any trial
Whatever provider you try, check these points before you start:
- How long the trial lasts and when it starts
- Whether it asks for payment details
- Whether it turns into a paid plan on its own
- How many trials you can have
Ours is free, lasts 24 hours, allows one trial per customer and is requested on WhatsApp. When it ends it simply stops: nothing is charged and nothing renews. All our plans also come with no contract and no auto-renewal.
After the trial
If it worked well in your home, you can choose a 3, 6 or 12-month plan. See our IPTV Morocco subscription plans for current prices, or read our guide to plan prices. Paid plans activate instantly and come with a 7-day money-back guarantee, counted from activation and applying to a first order only.
If it did not suit you, you have lost nothing but a few hours. When you are ready, message us on WhatsApp with your device and ask for the trial.
